Our Story …
We are really happy to announce that we're taking part in the Mystery Box Rally in 2024 to not only have fun but raise vital funds for anyone going through their cancer journey!
To be chosen to participate in this rally is such a privilege and very close to our hearts.
Mystery Box Rally is one of the largest community lead fundraising events for Cancer Council in Australia having raised over $7 million in the last 11 years. This rally will have us driving a car that is 25 years or older along outback roads. We will do approximately 2,500kms in 5 days. We set off from Airlie Beach & return to Airlie Beach 5 days later, each day in between is a mystery, we have no idea where we will be headed until just before departure the next morning.
In order for us to participate we need to raise $4,000 before we head off, every dollar raised through this link goes directly to Cancer Council and the amazing work that they do day in day out. To participate in the rally we have to self fund petrol, accommodation, food, repairs and any extra expenses along the way. We would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the cancer council & help us get on with our challenging journey!
Here's what I'm doing …
Mystery Box Rally is a 5-day challenge like no other. Participants drive 25+ year old cars along a mystery route, through some of Australia’s most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It’s not a race—it’s a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.
Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that’s all part of the fun. The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way. And when the day’s drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day’s achievements.
This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways—whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we’ll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.

Founded in 2009, Box Rallies has raised well over $50 million for cancer research with our chosen beneficiary being Cancer Council.
