Meet Adam, the connoisseur of new cars and the orchestrator of organized chaos. His mechanical skills are about as rare as a quiet seagull, but his ability to buy cars is second to none. With a taste for the shiny and a knack for getting lost in the owner's manual, Adam is the man behind the Dodgy Brothers' impeccably questionable journey. If you need someone to organize chaos, he's your guy. If you need someone to fix an engine, he's probably in the nearest dealership admiring the latest models.
✈️ Peter - The Elder, The Sky Captain, The Duct Tape Maestro
Then there's Peter, the elder Dodgy Brother, who not only conquers the skies as an airplane pilot but also dabbles in the fine art of "creative mechanics." If duct tape could fix a spaceship, Peter would be NASA's lead engineer. His skills are somewhere between "I think I know what I'm doing" and "Let's hope this holds together." With the precision of a pilot and the finesse of a duct tape virtuoso, Peter is the Dodgy Brothers' answer to every mechanical hiccup. If the car coughs, he's ready with a diagnostic tool and a reassuring pat on the dashboard.
🚙 The Dodgy-Mobile: A Rolling Antiquity on Wheels
Their chariot? A 25-year-old relic that's been around the block more times than your grandma's knitting needle. It's not just a car; it's a time machine on wheels, taking the Dodgy Brothers on a journey through the past while hurtling into an unpredictable future. If cars could talk, this one would probably say, "I've seen things, man."

But fear not, the Dodgy Brothers are not just embarking on a questionable road trip for kicks and giggles. No siree! They're on a mission to raise $4,000 for the Cancer Council Australia. Every dollar they collect is a step closer to a cure, and every laugh they generate is a testament to their commitment to making a difference.

As the Dodgy Brothers gear up for a 2,500-kilometer rollercoaster through the outback, they invite you to be a part of the chaos. Support the cause, chuckle at their shenanigans, and help them reach their $4,000 goal for the Cancer Council. Because, let's face it, nothing says "We're serious about a cure" like two brothers driving a rolling time capsule through the mysterious Australian outback!

Here's what I'm doing …
Teams will drive their own 25+ year old cars along a mystery route in this unique 5-day challenge, all in the name of cancer research. The route is a loop starting and finishing at the same location, but all the other details are kept under wraps, only given to the teams each morning.
The rally is not a race – it’s a fun, colourful, unpredictable adventure with participants travelling at their own pace in smaller groups. Vehicles often break down but “we never leave anyone behind” and each night is spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the day’s achievements. It all adds up to an incredible opportunity to see Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make lifelong friends, many brought together after experiencing cancer themselves or seeing cancer impact family and friends.
Since it’s inception the rally has been the largest fundraiser for the Cancer Council nationally."

Mystery Box Rally is a dedicated fundraising event for cancer research with funds going to Cancer Council.
Cancer Council is one of the largest non-government funders of cancer research in Australia. We conduct and fund research studies across all cancers and all stages of the cancer journey.
Thanks to the community funds raised such as Mystery Box Rally we can fund world-class research that reduces the impact of cancer for everyone.
$41 million over the past 13 years has been raised by Box Rallies to date, supporting ground-breaking projects such as:
- A research study to develop a vaccine that protects against lymphoma cancers.
- A research trial to standardise international guidelines on melanoma removal.
- A research grant to revolutionise the treatment of pancreatic cancer.
These projects wouldn’t be possible without your support.
