When you blend the enthusiasm of two Sunshine Coast women with a love for cars and adventure, and add a 1992 EB Falcon Wagon to the mix, the result is an extraordinary experience. Jessica Bon and Brianna Halliday are teaming up for the first time to take on the Mystery Box Rally in Airlie Beach from August 16th to 21st, 2024.
During this five-day challenge, they will drive their 25+ year old car along a concealed route, all in support of cancer research. While the rally is not a race, it promises a vibrant adventure, with participants setting their own pace. Nights are spent camping beneath the stars, fostering camaraderie among participants often connected by cancer experiences.
As the largest fundraiser for the Cancer Council nationally for 14 years, the rally aims to raise $1.3 million overall. Jess and Bri seek to enhance their EB Falcon with business stickers, offering a platform for those who want to get involved. Beyond the rally, their mission is to encourage young women to confront stereotypes and embrace adventures. Bri and Jess, active members of the 4x4 and camping community, have been embracing the outdoors and advocating for women to join in the fun for years.
So we are really happy to announce that we're taking part in Mystery Box Rally in 2024!!
Bri and Jess have both lost people close to them to Cancer and I hate to say it but I'm sure at some point in our futures we will stand by and watch more of our loved ones take the fight on too. Help us raise money to go towards research to find a cure so that we don't have to loose anyone else.

Teams will drive their own 25+ year old cars along a mystery route in this unique 5-day challenge, all in the name of cancer research. The route is a loop starting and finishing at the same location, but all the other details are kept under wraps, only given to the teams each morning.
The rally is not a race – it’s a fun, colourful, unpredictable adventure with participants travelling at their own pace in smaller groups. Vehicles often break down but “we never leave anyone behind” and each night is spent camping beneath the stars and celebrating the day’s achievements. It all adds up to an incredible opportunity to see Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make lifelong friends, many brought together after experiencing cancer themselves or seeing cancer impact family and friends.
Since it’s inception the rally has been the largest fundraiser for the Cancer Council nationally.
